Popeyes brings back its popular Louisiana BBQ Sandwich and launches new Box Meals, while Panera introduces a range of innovative summer menu items, including the Spicy Fiesta Chicken Sandwich and Kickin’ Grilled Cheese.

Popeyes has announced the return of its Louisiana BBQ Sandwich and introduced a new Louisiana BBQ Saucin’ Wings in the UK. The limited-edition Louisiana BBQ Sandwich, priced from £6.99, was popular last year with nearly 10,000 sold in its first week. The new Louisiana BBQ Saucin’ Wings are available from £5.75. Additionally, Popeyes has released new Box Meals starting at £9.99, offering various combinations of sandwiches, chicken tenders, and hot wings, including regular fries and a drink.

Dave Hoskins, Head of Food at Popeyes, expressed excitement about bringing back the Louisiana BBQ items, noting the sauce’s popularity among fans.

Panera has unveiled new summer menu items, including the Spicy Fiesta Chicken Sandwich, Kickin’ Grilled Cheese, and various avocado toasts. The Spicy Fiesta Chicken Sandwich features grilled chicken, salsa verde spread, aged white cheddar, and more on ciabatta. The Kickin’ Grilled Cheese combines American cheese, aged white cheddar, and salsa verde spread on Classic White Miche. Avocado toast options include the Classic Avo and Garden Avo on thin-sliced Country Rustic Sourdough.

Panera is also reintroducing Blueberry and Sesame Bagels and promoting a “Bagels are Back Sandwich Hack,” allowing customers to customize sandwich bread to bagels at half the sandwich price. The company highlighted the new offerings’ focus on innovation and enhancing core menu items.
