{"id":13198,"date":"2026-06-30T15:29:57","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T15:29:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sawahsolutions.com\/range\/pentagon-recruiting-new-tech-talent-for-ai-implementation\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T15:29:57","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T15:29:57","slug":"pentagon-recruiting-new-tech-talent-for-ai-implementation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sawahsolutions.com\/range\/pentagon-recruiting-new-tech-talent-for-ai-implementation\/","title":{"rendered":"Pentagon recruiting new tech talent for AI implementation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The Pentagon on Tuesday announced a new campaign to recruit hundreds of young programmers for AI and engineering challenges, according to an advance notice seen by Defense One.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWar Force is a call to action for patriotic forward-deployed engineers who want to serve their country and the warfighter,\u201d Defense\u00a0Department CTO Emil Michael said in a statement viewed by Defense One.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants, referred to in this OPM job listing for a \u201cforward deployed engineer(s),\u201d will work for two-year stints to implement the department\u2019s AI Acceleration Strategy as well as other critical IT needs.
