Freja has unveiled a new range of powdered shakes that offer a convenient way to enjoy the nutritional benefits of bone broth. The Bone Broth Shake range includes flavors such as Raw Cacao, Vanilla Bean, Wild Strawberry, and an Unflavoured option. These shakes are available for purchase through Freja’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) store and on Amazon, priced at £27.99 for a 300g pack.
The shakes, described as “creamy and indulgent,” are sweetened with coconut sugar and are free from artificial additives. They can be prepared hot or cold by mixing a 25g serving with water or a preferred milk. Each serving delivers up to 21g of collagen and 23g of protein, while being gluten and dairy-free. According to Freja, these shakes function as a protein shake, collagen supplement, and electrolyte powder combined.
Jess Leather, Freja’s founder, emphasizes that this new product line is “the first of its kind” and offers more than traditional protein powders. The shakes are intended to be gut-friendly and nutrition-packed without the taste of bone broth.
Freja was founded in 2020 by Jess Leather and her husband Ed Armitage during the lockdown, and they specialize in premium bone broths made from all-natural ingredients. In addition to their DTC store and Amazon, Freja products are also available through Ocado.
