Müller Yogurt & Desserts launches new Cadbury milkshake flavours in £1.69 Price Marked Packs, aiming to boost sales in the growing flavoured milk market.

Cadbury Milkshakes Introduce Price Marked Packs for Convenience Stores and Wholesalers

Müller Yogurt & Desserts has announced that the two newly launched Cadbury milkshake flavours, Cadbury Creamy Chocolate Milkshake and Cadbury Creamy Chocolate Caramel Flavour Milkshake, will now be available in £1.69 Price Marked Packs (PMPs). These products are set to hit the convenience and wholesale channels, aiming to boost sales within this fast-growing sector.

The flavoured milk market, currently valued at £700 million annually, has shown an impressive growth rate of 11% year-on-year. Convenient stores handle half of these sales, making them a crucial segment for flavoured milk products. The introduction of Cadbury Milkshakes in both PMPs and standard packs is expected to drive further growth in this sector, enhancing the sales potential for convenience retailers.

Carol Hand, Head of Category and Shopper-Based Design at Müller Yogurt & Desserts, noted, “We are committed to driving category growth by continually expanding and optimising our portfolio of products to meet the needs of both retailers and shoppers. The exciting introduction of our new Cadbury Milkshakes in price marked packs and standard packs is a perfect example of this and presents a fantastic opportunity for convenience retailers to maximise sales.”

Manufactured in the UK with milk sourced from British farms and Cadbury milk chocolate, these milkshakes feature a long-lasting ambient recipe that offers a shelf life of three months. This extended shelf life is particularly suitable for convenience stores, allowing them to stock up and store the products ambiently before refilling their chillers as needed.

To support the launch, a comprehensive marketing and public relations campaign will be rolled out, including out-of-home advertising and a broader multimedia campaign later in the year. Convenience store operators can leverage this high consumer awareness by stocking up and creating in-store visibility using specially designed POS kits, which include wobblers and A4 window posters.

The milkshakes, available in 250ml bottles, are now accessible through most wholesalers and cash and carry services nationwide. Retailers also have the flexibility with non-price marked packs and can set their own prices.

Müller UK & Ireland, operating under a license from Mondelēz International, continues to enhance its offering by responding to market demand and providing products designed to meet the needs of both consumers and retailers.
