McVitie’s unveils its ‘Signature’ biscuit range for a luxurious snacking experience, while Two Rivers Coffee collaborates with Kellanova to launch Eggo Coffee inspired by the beloved Eggo waffles.
McVitie’s is set to introduce a new range of biscuits aimed at offering a luxurious snacking experience. The ‘Signature’ range, featuring Caramel Chocolate Rounds, Chocolate Cream Swirls, and Chocolate Caramel biscuits, will be available in Waitrose stores starting July 22, with other supermarkets to follow. The biscuits are characterized by thick layers of chocolate and caramel, aimed at creating the brand’s ‘most moreish’ biscuits yet. Marketing Director James King highlights the attention to detail and quality ingredients as key components of this new release.
In another development, Two Rivers Coffee has collaborated with Kellanova, previously known as Kellogg Company, to launch Eggo Coffee. Introduced at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City, Eggo Coffee will be available by mid-August. The product comes in five flavors inspired by the popular Eggo waffles: Blueberry Eggo, Chocolate Chip Eggo, Cinnamon Toast Eggo, Maple Syrup Eggo, and Vanilla Eggo. These single-serve K-cup pods will be available both online and in various retailers. According to Sam Blaney, Marketing Director at Two Rivers Coffee, the new coffee line aims to bring a nostalgic yet energizing experience to consumers.
Two Rivers Coffee is known for previous collaborations with well-known brands such as Cold Stone Creamery and Junior Mints. The Eggo brand, on its part, has engaged in various unique collaborations this year, including a limited-edition cookie with Chip City and the release of branded shoes with Dominic Ciambrone, also known as the Shoe Surgeon.
