Huawei has launched an innovative suite of intelligent solutions designed to simplify AI adoption for small and medium-sized enterprises, aiming to address technical barriers and boost digital transformation across key sectors in China and beyond.
Huawei has unveiled a new suite of intelligent solutions designed to aid small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digital transformation efforts. The company’s Executive Director of the Board, David Wang, introduced the HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N SME Intelligence Solutions at the HUAWEI eKit Autumn Launch 2025 event held in Shanghai. According to the announcement, these offerings aim to provide comprehensive “last-mile” services, targeting the specific needs of SMEs as they adopt artificial intelligence (AI) and smart technologies to enhance their operations.
The launch event, themed “Together for Growth, All Intelligence,” spotlighted the challenges many SMEs face when trying to integrate AI—issues attributed largely to limited technical expertise and low awareness of AI capabilities. Huawei said in a statement that its new solutions are designed to be accessible and easy to deploy, reducing technical barriers for SMEs and helping installers deliver tailored services more efficiently. Wang emphasised that intelligence should be as easily accessible as utilities like water and electricity and expressed the company’s commitment to ensuring no business is left behind in the journey towards intelligent operations.
The HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N framework comprises four main business scenarios covering intelligent office, intelligent business, intelligent education, and intelligent healthcare. The ten one-stop solutions within this framework include options like SME office management, intelligent hotel systems, digital diagnosis platforms, and smart classrooms. Huawei also introduced 26 supplementary “star products” under the N series, including advanced enterprise-grade routers capable of multiple network functions and new IdeaHub devices that integrate AI-powered conferencing and acoustic technology. These products feature an all-in-one design emphasizing intelligent interaction and security, purportedly simplifying the adoption process for SMEs.
This strategic shift aligns with Huawei’s effort to move away from standalone product sales towards integrated, scenario-based solutions aimed at addressing real-world business use cases comprehensively. The company claims that by handling the technical complexity, its solutions allow partners and customers to focus on growth and operations without being hindered by technological hurdles. Enhanced AI technologies embedded in the solutions are pre-integrated and validated to provide flexible, scenario-specific configurations, facilitating faster deployments and more efficient after-sales support.
While Huawei’s new offering appears ambitious, the broader global context indicates that SMEs often face persistent challenges in fully harnessing AI capabilities due to resource constraints and evolving regulatory environments. Some industry analysts note that the success of such integrated solutions hinges on the capacity of local partners to provide effective installation, ongoing support, and customised adaptation to specific business needs. Observers also highlight that concerns around data security, cost, and complexity remain significant considerations for SMEs contemplating AI adoption.
Huawei’s emphasis on empowering its distribution network and installers suggests an awareness of these challenges, aiming to streamline sales and deployment processes through improved training, resource accessibility, and unified customer support services. As SMEs continue to represent a substantial portion of economic activity—in China alone creating over 80% of urban jobs and contributing 60% to the GDP—the efforts to facilitate their intelligent transformation could have wide-reaching economic impacts if successfully implemented.
