Amsterdam-based startup Dashmote has raised $6 million in Series A1 funding to accelerate its AI-powered sales tool, DashSalesAI, and expand into the US market, building on a total of $14 million raised since inception.
Amsterdam-based AI technology startup Dashmote has announced the successful securing of $6 million in a Series A1 funding round co-led by Blossom Street Ventures and Rabobank. This fresh capital injection will primarily fuel the acceleration of DashSalesAI, the company’s first generative AI tool developed specifically for field sales professionals. Alongside product advancement, the funds will support an expansion of the Dashmote team and bolster growth efforts in the United States. To date, the startup has raised a total of $14 million across all funding rounds.
Founded in 2015 by Dennis Tan, Matthäus Schreder, and Stefan Tan, Dashmote harnesses AI to transform vast volumes of unstructured data into actionable insights, mainly serving sectors such as sales, marketing, and strategic planning. The company’s premier platform has carved a niche in the food and beverage industry by aggregating data from food delivery services and mapping technologies. This unique dataset, reportedly one of the largest globally, encompasses millions of venues spanning domains like e-commerce, social media, and mapping services. Such comprehensive data enables businesses to uncover growth opportunities, enhance their online presence, and broaden their market reach.
DashSalesAI, the central focus of the new funding, operates by distilling raw data into practical, real-time intelligence for field sales representatives. The generative AI agent delivers detailed venue profiles, insights into market trends, and personalised outreach strategies. The technology is already being integrated into sales workflows by high-profile clients including Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and AB InBev. According to Dashmote, field representatives utilise the agent to identify nearby leads, receive daily briefings, and draft communications spontaneously. The company describes initial user feedback as positive, portraying DashSalesAI as a “reliable junior sales assistant who never sleeps.”
What sets DashSalesAI apart is its design tailored specifically to the dynamic environment of field sales, differentiating it from traditional office chatbots. Dennis Tan, Co-founder and CEO of Dashmote, highlighted that the tool is built to match the rhythm of a sales rep’s day—from planning morning routes to capturing insights after meetings. Deploying large language models (LLMs), DashSalesAI takes on time-consuming tasks such as outreach drafting, venue research, and visit logging, thereby freeing reps to prioritise relationship building and revenue growth.
Beyond food and beverage, Dashmote notes that DashSalesAI also serves medical device and pharmaceutical representatives, real estate agents, and other professionals who depend on in-person interactions. Meanwhile, e-commerce and digital sales teams tap into Dashmote’s AI agents to optimise online storefronts and craft targeted marketing strategies. Overall, the funding round and advances in AI capabilities position Dashmote to deepen its impact across various sectors while expanding its footprint internationally, particularly in the competitive US market.
