Central Washington Resistance, a Yakima-based non-profit organization, held its “Truth Over Propaganda” demonstration Saturday at the corner of South First Street and Washington Avenue, one of the city’s most visible downtown locations.<\/p>\n
The event brought together local activists displaying various signs, many expressing opposition to Trump administration policies and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations, which have been particularly contentious in this agricultural region with its significant immigrant population.<\/p>\n
