It is a movement towards establishing a new financial system in balance with the earth and its planetary boundaries – one where economics and ecology align.
It is a new way to think about economics, looking at how we can connect financial activity in tandem with regenerating the world’s natural resources, making the environment a key stakeholder within the global economic system.
The concept of ReFi sees money as a powerful tool to aggressively address our greatest challenge – the climate crisis. It is the idea of how to make capital flow to regenerate the Earth in a manner that is scalable, permissionless, and without middlemen.
